We are a group of amateur artists who love hiking and sketching in all seasons and in all types of weather. We will meed at various locations for a short hike and then sketch. All mediums welcome: graphite, watercolor, marker, pen, charcoal...and a sketchbook of course! The group can split up if they want, or beginning artists can stay with me as I show a step-by-step demonstration. Dress for the weather and bring a sack lunch, we can eat when finished and share our artwork.

This group is for Chicago Area developers and designers of all makes and models to get together and drink alcohol (or some other poison), showcase their work, share tips and techniques, and find full time and contract work opportunities. “This is a group for anyone interested in drawing from a nude model. All skills levels are welcome. I started this group because I thought my studio would make a great intimate venue for enthusiasts to get together, whether you are just beginning or more experienced.
This group is for improvisers and who want to be better at their craft. Our events are like workshops. We get on our feet and try things out. Typically, events will have a small fee to cover the cost of the room rental and to pay a coach or teacher to lead the rehearsal. Many events are led by Kevin Mullaney, the Artistic Director of the Chicago Improv Festival and the former Artistic Director of the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York.
This group will focus on drawing, it will embrace all different styles and techniques that exist out there.
