Let's get together on weekends to wander around San Francisco, sketching people and places. You don't have to be the next Paul Madonna, just someone who likes observing city life and making marks on paper. (Note that we used to be called Urban Sketchers. Same group, just a different name.)
There are no upcoming Meetups.
Meet, greet, draw, paint and sketch at parks, gardens, museums and cafes. Occasionally we might take a trip to San Francisco, but primarily, this will be centered in the East Bay.
Meetup details are available only to members.
This group is an experiment to create a free exchange of modeling and drawing for artists, like myself, who love drawing from life. Group members take turns doing some of the modeling (clothed or nude) and will have plenty of time to draw. I have drawn from life on and off for the last 10 years or so and also have experience modeling for life drawing classes in the University setting. I think the experience of being on both sides of the coin is valuable and interesting. Details: - All meetings …

Because there tends to be a revolving door of new and old faces at these …
Let's face it: seriousness is overrated. It cuts into our enjoyment of life, the satisfaction we can get out of life and even into our productivity. We at Rumor Improv believe that people give up make believe games far too early in life. In fact, our main goal in holding these classes is to remind adults that playing is fun and relaxing and even sort of therapeutic. Improvisation could be the road for you to rekindle your sense of excitement and mystery, to delve into your toybox of excitement …
My Goal: Spread the word, educate and raise funds for horse rescue. Special interest: getting together with people who love horses and getting some fundraising events going in 2010. A little bit about Blue Horse Design .... Blue Horse Design started off on the kitchen table with a sketch pad, pencil, pen or whatever else was handy at the time. Many a utility bill has been mailed with pretty, or not so pretty, renditions of abstract horses bordering the amount due. Always practicing and always …
